Today we are going to be looking at cholesterol numbers and explore if the traditional profile even matters. If the traditional lipid profile doesn’t matter, then what additional markers can we consider to assess our risk of cardiovascular disease.
Note, this is just thinking about numbers in general, without considering scored risk or family history. But IMO it does mean that a one size fits all approach doesn’t necessarily make sense.
